The Arup Design School is run every year throughout the five Arup regions and is sponsored by the firm's Design and Technical Executive.

Design School is a time to get creative, think and learn about design and participate in interesting activities. Attendees also have a great opportunity to meet colleagues from other offices in Australasia region and senior leaders from the host office.

Attendees are selected from each office in the Australasia region as well as representatives from Europe, the Americas, East Asia and UK, Middle East and Africa(UK-MEA).

The Design School for 2011 was held in Melbourne with a focus on the urban environment of the city.
